This is a can opener. This photo was taken with tungsten lighting for a golden tone, using a +4 diopter to focus on only one of the wheels. It was cropped, nothing else.

I feel that the wheel in the background is a little too blury...could have been cleaner. Great idea!!!

Focus needs to be a tad sharper on the wheels of the can opener.

The framing rocks. I would draw the focus to the intersection of the wheels, where the cutting happens

I would suggest better lighting to avoid the over-exposed spot on the right.

needs more DOF - i don't like pics that are mostly out of focus.

Nice idea. Sepia works well. A couple suggestions: USe a tripod and stop way down to get maximum DOF (if you didn't) and position the lighting to remove the very bright hot spots on the right side.

A greater DOF or maybe a different focus point-- like the front of the second wheel would have helped this photo.
