 Shot taken of crystal surrounded by water, this was taken at my home, outdoors in full sun, using my standard Oly lens, with a +3 close-up lens attached. I simply cropped the shot & played around with the contrast and saturation to get the beautiful violet shade you see in the shot.

I wouln't really regard this as being very high in contrast.
