 Day #4 brings a cheap shot at sales.

Technically it's a DE-motivational poster, however, there were plenty of the genre in the motivational posters challenge. Besides, it's a shoehorn anyway!

I'm pretty pleased with this one. It took a lot of work to get the dark blue background to look the way I wanted. Since I used blue posterboard as my background, it had a mottled appearance that I got rid of with multiple techniques to blur and soften the detail and create the smooth blend. In the meantime I had to keep the shoehorn deselected to maintain it's sharp appearance. There was probably an easier way to do it with layers, but I have not gotten to that level of editing skill yet.

Well, I'm a sucker for the colour and design. Somehow I want to tie this to the DP Challenges - maybe turn it into the Shoehorn Award. Beauty job.

You did a wonderful job with the blue background. It's a gorgeous color! I cannot believe you did not find a way to work these words in "if the shoe fits..." hehe.

EXCELLENT..... and definitely worth going into 'my favorites' right now..... My only suggestions is, what are you going to do for an encore..... I really do like this very much.....
