Sorry...I've been very distracted by no job...and such... anyway....I assume we know the benefit of the rain to the roses....what is the benefit to the rain from the roses the DNMC police may ask? Well, I figure the rain on the roses evaporates quicker than the rain below the roses so it can start the cycle over again....maybe(?).

Taken at the Kater Street Garden which has been somehow legally vandalized by the owners of the building behind it. Very, very sad. No great patch of day lilies this year, they've all been dug up and some, alledgely, stolen by someone who doesn't have to steal. Even sadder.

Post: Camera Raw adjustments in PSElements 6.0. Convert to jpeg. Layer adjustments for levels, brightness/contrast and hue/saturation. USM (15/50/0) and sharpen. Spot edit a few imperfections on one of the roses. Selected the front group in a layer mask and applied NeatImage to the background. Resize. Sharpen.

Love this one..... a late spring for me, wild roses are not yet blooming in Wisconsin.

Nice pink flowers. I like how you see the dew on the flowers.

...and whiskers on kittens; Bright copper kettles and warm woolen mittens.

A great concept, however if you could reshoot this with nice fresh blooms and fill the frame with just one or two then it would look much better.

not quite the first time I've said this (maybe I'm being too picky, but I just don't see the mutually beneficial relationship. Otherwise a pretty cool photo

Lovely picture. I think the fact that the flowers aren't perfect really ads to the effect of the picture.
