***** post-challenge comments *****

Ended up about where I thought it would. :-) This was challenging to get the focus correct, and never did get it spot on. Using the remote and a single 40 watt light source I pre-focused on a spot and I tried to stay in it. Probably didn't help that I did this at the last minute. He-he.

Thanks Andrew (' . substr('//www.dpchallenge.com/images/user_icon/21.gif', strrpos('//www.dpchallenge.com/images/user_icon/21.gif', '/') + 1) . ' littlegett) for the recognition! That's way cool. :-P

eyes seem out of focus, texture is good

I very much like this - particulary the almost-sadness in the eyes.

This is a unique idea; something about the processing falls short for me. Perhaps less orange and more sepia on the skin tones? An extra point for creativity, tho! :)

Unique mask and camoflage. It looks like Peter Sellers.

The lighting or contrast seems a bit harsh, also I am drawn to the eyes however the eyes seem slightly soft. Regardless it is a very creative idea. :)

good idea, but i think something is missing here, maybe if the whole face was in the shot.

an interesting take on the challenge, good color but the shot seems a little off

It's an interesting concept... I like that the eyes are still the focus even thought the tree is in front of them

Nicely done. The colors work well together, it balances well and the bark moves the eye so well. 8
