Very nice picture. It meets the challenge well and is also well taken. To my eye it might have been a bit better if everything was in focus but that might not have been possible.
Nice dof detail and composition. The curls on the right are not defined and might have been better cropped out. I think adding more lighting could have helped bring out even more detail within the nest and given a more 3d look to the curls.
