I don't think I've ever seen a hummingbird at our feeder. I think it's that thing that holds it up - the big bird scares them.

If you put a plain bent-glass tube on, in place of that yellow thing, the hummers will be OK w/that. Also, if you go inside, where they can't see you. "D

how did you get fingerprints all over this image Ken?? hehehe
cover the big hummer there and see what happens, or plant some bright flowers around it

We have a hummingbird feeder like that that isn't to popular with them either. It's pretty to us, but they repeatedly tell us, "No thank you" to that one. If you get the cheap, ugly kind that has a tray on the bottom, they'll come. They like to be able to perch while they sip on their delight.

I like that fuzzy texture :)
