This is a glass salad bowl sitting inverted on the hood of my truck. Obviously I took some editing liberties. Otherwise it was as boring as a... um... salad bowl. :)

edit: To create the tentacles, I (obviously) extended the canvas and then used some smear (at 90%) and some Liquify. I did half of them on a new layer, duplicated the layer and then flipped that horizontally and then went in and tweaked some of them.

1. Cool jellyfish. 2. Great texture, like frost on jellyfish. 3. Hmn, something familiar about that texture. 4. And shape. 5. HOW did he DO and THINK to do that?

This is my idea of a double take: beauty and wonder.

That's pretty cool "Art" work there. If you turn it over and add a bunch of orange and red it would be much like a bowl of your favorite pastime, burning things. Nice job!

I'm not sure what secret elixier you are taking at the moment, but if you could bottle it, then send out a million spam e-mails (all badly spelt), I'm sure you could make a fortune . .

This is technically and creatively brilliant. Top marks.

Very, very, clever, and it looks quite amazing.....
I really LOVE the textures, and the colors as they are awesome.....

You really have an amazing mind, and can think or the most unusual things, and then put them together like this, and take an excellent photo, that you then share with us.....

A wonderful illusion thats for sure.....

Clever!!! How did you get the cool tentacles?

The tentacles aren't long enough, so it's more like an Andorran Bowl O' War.

(Andorra, small landlocked principality between Spain and France. It has no navy to speak of, but is a popular tourist destination, a tax haven, and currently has the world's highest life expectancy, as well as a thriving salad bowl market.) ;-Þ
