I been run down, I been lied to,

I don’t know why I let that mean woman make me a fool.
She took all my money, wrecked my new car.
Now she’s with one of my goodtime buddies,
They’re drinkin’ in some crosstown bar.

Sometimes I feel, sometimes I feel,
Like I been tied to the mixing bowl,
Tied to the mixing bowl,
Tied to the mixing bowl,
Good lord, I feel like I’m dyin’.

My friends tell me, that I’ve been such a fool,
And I have to stand by and take it baby, all for lovin’ you.
Drown myself in sorrow, and I look at what you’ve down.
But nothin’ seems to change, the bad times stay the same,
And I can’t run.

Sometimes I feel, sometimes I feel,
Like I been tied to the mixing bowl
Tied to the mixing bowl,
Tied to the mixing bowl,
Good lord, I feel like I’m dyin’.

Sometimes I feel, sometimes I feel,
Like I been tied to the mixing bowl
Tied to the mixing bowl,
Tied to the mixing bowl,
Good lord, I feel like I’m dyin’.
Original song: "The Whipping Post" by the Allman Brothers Band

I was washing this bowl in the kitchen when it occurred to me I could shoot it for this side challenge. Immediately after I thought about that, the song popped into my head for some reason. Kind crazy, huh? :)

This is just crazy, in a good way. I practically wore that album out, not I think you ruined the song for me. This weekend the vinyl comes out and gets cranked to reset my brain!

'Someone's in the kitchen with Dinah
Someone's in the kitchen I know....
Someone's in the kitchen with Dinah
Cookin' up a Woody stew...."

Just in case you needed to get that other song out of your head.

So how do you get the bricks reflected onto the bowl? Good tune, too, by the way. I seem to remember bits and pieces of that one.

LOL, this whole time I thought that I was the only one who thought of weird things at the strangest times.
At first I thought this was some kind of new spa treatment, but being tied to the mixing bowl is more funny.

Heh, it looks like he's taking a steam bath in there (or maybe is getting cooked). Extremely well done!

Well done! we've all felt tied to the mixing bowl, sometimes. I hope his day improved, later. [eta] I like your choices in PP, very nice, & it looks like a cover shot for the CD. I really miss album covers.

Good processing! I didn't realize the background was added in until I saw the original. I like the texture given to woody here too! Nice!
