Wonderful lighting and great detail. Love the comment of it looking like a steam train dooming out of the past, it describes it perfectly. Excellent work, Ben. Congrats on 4th place.

Shame it was just out of the ribbons..was my fav of the challenge and should've ribboned IMHO ;-). But 4th place isn't too bad - nice one.

a bit too noisy as can be seen at the bottom of this shot, great take on the subject, was that camera brought up from the Titanic???

Really nicely done. Hopefully, the camera was aged this badly before you set up the shot :)

The black on black could have ruined this, but there is just enough texture and age on the camera to really be interesting. The detail captured is perfect.

I love the look of this capture, it has a very “Industrial Revolution” feel to it.

Awesome! The opposite of everyone's pristinely kept antiques. i love the textures and the CRUST! 9

That is one interesting camera! The texture is well rendered, and the exposure good. There is some black haloing to the top and sides, which is a shame, and the shiny metal peice seems somewhat out of keeping. Nonethe less a good entry, and one that is certainly intriguing.
