Your shallow dof makes for interesting focus on all those straw tips. Nice macro.

A clever idea. I can't help but wonder how this would have looked lit from behind or in some other manner using the translucency of the straws.

Everyone's gotta do this shot at least once and you've done it better than most I've seen. Striped straws seem to make this work better than solid colored ones and you really nailed an excellent perspective here. Well done!
