 I really wish I knew the story behind these shoes. I got them at a garage sale in Brandon, MB, Canada in the summer of 2003 or 04, I dont remember, for a whooping 25 cents. They seem very old and very used so they've probably seen their share of dances.

This one does tell a story yet it leaves it up to the imagination of the viewer. One of the more imaginative takes on the challenge. I like it.

The aged red shoes really help this shot. They, in themselves, look like they could tell a story. Very nicely done.

Love this shot - the colours, crop, composition - all look really good to me. Very strong, with puchy colours.

I'm not sure about the title - I think the shoes look abandoned rather than cast off . . I think the title might work better in a flower filled meadow, or on a beach.

Anyway - good shot.

This is so beautiful. Its my only 10 because technically I think it s really well done (Love love love the colors and DOF) and as far as the image goes it is so simple yet it makes you wonder what happened there! Excelent work! I hope you ribbon!
