Yes, it’s a real park next to the Encina power plant in Carlsbad, CA. I tweaked the colors with selective color to give it that surreal look.

A beautiful image, certainly deserving of a ribbon. My only "10" of the challenge. The voters may not give this the credit it deserves, due to it's subtle simplicity that may sneak past them in the 5 seconds they take to vote, but it's definitely a winner in my book.

The composition has a good use of shapes. The negative spaces are almost as strong as the main elements. Nicely done.

I'm not a big stickler about the the rules of photography, but I think the rule of thirds would have made this composition more powerfule. Nice light and color though.

wow how out of place is this. Nice composition and sharpness, the best picture for me in this contest. Great!

Very humorous! Great idea. Two suggestions I have for your composition- 1.) The seat of the bike lines up almost exactly with the fence, making the two blur together. This seems a little distracting to me (just my opinion -not to be taken too seriously) 2.) The slide on the left runs into the front wheel - also seems a little distracting.
I realize this probably couldn't be avoided.

Interesting shot. As a variation I'd have liked to see this shot from a lower angle so that the bike was in front of the sky, not the pink wall.

lol. I don't know if it's the colors, me, or what but this shot after looking at it for two days....makes me feel like I'm watching the 'teletubbies'. lol It's looks cartoon like...lol That is not bad, just the feel I get from it. It is in fact ver good and right on topic for the challenge. Good luck.

nice shot very quiet and still, well framed and not over the top on saturation while still being bright.

Interesting shot all the colors combine nicely and the imagery is well within theme.
