Especially like the blue brought out in the lichen. |

I see the bit of camera shake too in this shot. It may help to think about gently and gradually increasing pressure on the shutter button, the same way you would trigger a rifle to reduce shake. I use a monopod quite often, and that makes a huge difference in sharpness.
Nice composition, and the colors and texture are pleasing to see. |

I would go for the Sports setting too. A beautiful shot, very well composed, & I agree w/what's been said by others. |

I like the image you were going after -- the contrasting light, the various greens, and the shapes and textures. The soft focus on the tree bothers me, because my eyes strain to get it clear, but I like the blur in the background. |

I like the different shapes and colors of green. you really need a stable shooting support on close ups like this one. |

a study in green - i need to remember that not all images need to be sharp and that often the thing that draws you into taking the shot is sometimes things other than tack sharpness - in this case you have captured about 20 shades of green in this small space |

I like all the different shades of green but the focus bothers me a little on the tree. if it was camera shake setting a higher ISO if possible would increase shutter speed, or sports mode would do the same |

I do like the varying shades of green. Looks like maybe you could stand for bracing yourself against something as it looks like the shot suffers from camera shake.
Otherwise the composition is strong. |
