I snapped this photo as I was riding home from downtown. There were three seagulls just sitting there as if they were chatting about the weather. I couldn't help but take a photo of them, especially with the cloudless blue sky as the background.

Only editing that was involved was a little crop because of too much sky.

i always find it odd that birds tend to flock together on poles like this. driving down the highway, we see poles with a hundred birds barely fitting, and then the next pole is completely empty - funny, and odd, thing about birds

technically - i think the narrow crop really hurts you here - especially with the small 640pixel image - we lose the detail of the birds

possibly a closer crop with a similar set up - placing the birds off center - would provide the same feel but with a bit more for us as viewers to see and enjoy

this shot seems more like a snapshot of three birds to complete a taste in some sort of scavenger hunt rather than a photo for a photo challenge

there aren't too many good pictures in this challenge. I'll go for this one as a winner
