The title is a take off on e-machines, and refers of course to wind machines. Taken at the Montezuma Hills wind farm. Was up there Saturday with my kid to do some scouting around for her science fair project. Just a quick grab shot that kinda sorta fits the challenge. Wish there had been some clouds in the sky to make this more interesting.

Oh, there are five windmills. Get it. It's an odd number. I was going to rename it "five w-machines" but decided to take my chances with the voters. The picture is a little odd, too, I think.

Not expecting a whole lot out of this one, but my macro is getting panned and I'm a glutton for punishment so I thought I would throw this one up there too.

Post-challenge -- bad neat image job made the weird blur in this one ... orignial is sharp. Shows what you get with a last minute re-edit on a resized image. Doh!

Nice subject and composition. The grass looks kind of weird though, as if maybe it was blurry and you sharpened it?

clear, just not eye catching

the curve of the hill, the repeating shape of the windmills - positives for the challenge, but the image seems to suffer from a bit of soft focus

This has a nice geometric form but the image appers taken at a very low resolution which makes the straight lines of the masts vague

I love the composition, but it's to blurry. Use a tripod next time.
