Closer crop to Pickles and his shadow would feature him and his happy little leap which could almost come out of the picture at you. (I have yet to get a dog in motion shot that does anything, and NOT for want of trying).

You captured a happy mood of this dog. The little coat and dog tag say to me that someone really cares about this animal. Nice shot!

You could try for one w/some motion-blur, next time, if you're in the mood. They can run so fast! Nicely photogenic dog--go for it!

the dog sure looks like it is having a bunch of fun- a bit on the blurry side but all things considered a good shot

Awwwww. Mid-Air capture. I love that dog in his cute little bandana!

To bad he is OOF. Would have been a great shot. Much hate for the lag time on P&S.

I like the capture of the dog in the air, though the lack of sharpness on the dog bothers me a little, the baseball shot is much better IMHO

Looking at the grass, sharpest focus seems to be just behind the subject. I feel that this is a result of shutter lag from the time the camera got focus on the dog until the shutter opened. Pretty cool looking dog, and he has an interesting name. Actually the timing worked out great to capture the shot with him completely in the air.
