 They may be just weeds but I think they're pretty on the sides of our Texas highways and roads...thanks, Ladybird Johnson! :)

I say that the only difference between a weed and a flower is if you want them or not. I think some "weeds" are better than flowers you buy at a store. Good job on the exposure for what appears to be tough shooting conditions; the bright flower helps create some nice contrast with the background.

A bit bright, a filter would have helped you out here. The DOF is well done as is the focus

Having the bluebonnets in the background is wonderful - to offset the pale pink of the primrose.
