This is our kitchen mouse -- we have had him for awhile and when thinking of what to do for the macro challenge, my son, held him up and said what about this? The rest was a labor of macro love......

Wish I knew what went wrong. There were no comments that helped me with why the image did so poorly. I obviously did something really wrong. I used a macro lens +2 screw on lens which I thought resulted in great detail. The mousetraps seemed to really fill the background just enough.

Help .... Help me get better :)

lol nice idea! Surely though the best laid schemes go to waste - but that "mouse" appears to have found a plan that works - disproving your title.
