 POMT day 16.

After the formal ceremony is finished and nice photos have been taken things begin to get messy. Giulia was taken outside, dressed up and had a bottle of wine taped to her hand. A large poster featuring lewd drawings and inappropriate photos of the graduate was then pinned up to a tree. Around the edge of the poster are stories of drunken nights and misdeeds which she was then forced to read out in front of her ENTIRE family (grandparents included). Every time she misread or skipped something she was forced to drink or was force fed bananas and whipped cream.

Needless to say after 15 minutes she was no longer sober. This is a process that traditionally every student has to go through.

I have talked to people here who have a genuine fear of graduating.

Holy Crap - I would NEVER want to do that.... having said that, 'when's your graduation? & who will photograph it for us? GRIN!
