| I'm guessing this was early morning or late afternoon, and the right side has such great contrast. The left side makes me thing your subject is running into something wonderful. |

| I like the "feel" of this photo. The low sun angle yields a nice quality to the water, and contrasts it from the sand. The runner really adds interest. |

I love the runner! It reminds me of a passion I would like to return to...
Sadly, the highlights are a little harsh in this photo with sunflare that is a bit distracting. The photo, also, comes across as a foreground bokeh shot, since the pier seems to have stronger lines than the beach area.
This is a "toss up" for me, since my personal tastes are a little fragmented as to points that repel or appeal...Yet, sunsets are always great subjects! So, you are definitely in the right place for great ideas! :) |

| the angles of the runners shadow, the lines of sand from the tide movement, the gentle slope of the water, and the contrast of the sun and the runner all work together nicely |

I like the intensity of the sun's reflection...almost as if it's going to burn a hole in the picture... Seems like the runner spotted the duck.

I like it. I like the composition. It almost looks like the runner is watching the duck (if he can keep his eyes open with that bright sun coming across the water).
