Compositionally, I love this shot. It is "anchored" (no pun intended) strongly in the lower right hand side with the smattering of boats on the left providing a neat contrast and adding balance. It does *feel* tilted to the right to me, though I don't think it is. I suspect it is more of an illusion created by the boats and the clouds.

I really like the bw conversion and how you have captured a lot of detail without making it busy.

It has a very dark ominous feeling. You can almost feel the storm blowing in. . .

Great work

Maybe more good memories will crowd out that bad one! This certainly is beautiful. And I love it when a photo way surpasses what you expect, huh? Great job!

Congrats on the 6th, Enzo, well done and way above your prediction. Wouldn't want to be there when the storm breaks out

Enzo - love the shot.

The masts are almost like as forest of naked trees with the storm clouds beyond.

Very nice PP

Enzo,

You never disappoint my friend. You are an inspiration to this photag and this is another amazing example. Congrats on your placement even though I feel it should have been higher.

Wonderful sky! I like the processing you have done. Horizontal borders only work on a few shots and does on this one.

Those are some ominous clouds! Great sky, and a good photo. For a water challenge, this does become a bit more about the sky than the water though... hmmm... 7.

Fantastic range of tones in this image. I love the clouds, but the rest of the image is gorgeous as well. I also dig how this looks like a print made with the platnum process...i wish I could capture and post process this well.--10
