Took the same coral of the last time, but now I tried a closer look resulting almost on an abstract photo.
I think the contrast, lighting and texture are much better than the last time and actually I tried to follow some of the critiques that I received on the last one.
The setup is simple, just put the coral on the window to get the light, adjusted the camera in the manual mode. Focus set to macro.
Editing steps include the conversion from RAW to jpg: Manual WB, Contrast, Sharpness, Color, Crop, etc.
and then the simple editing on PSP X1: Rotate, Levels, Curves, Clarify, Resize, USM.
Hope this gets better than my latest entries. I think it deserves more than 6 because it meets the challenge and it is well done. I thought the same about some of my latest entries and they scored very bad...
The only problem I see on it is with the very bright upper-right corner, and I could not remove it in basic editing, without removing also some of the details of the coral. So I choosed to keep it.
