The poem seems to fit this perfectly. I like how the tulip is opened up to the sun and is isolated by the overlay. Your chosen colors are serene instead of what many would do for the DPC-friendly picture.

I like how it does look like it's nodding in the sun.

A really lovely poem and an amazing photo. Love the deep purple and green together.

Such a gorgeous tulip! I can see why you were so anxious for them to bloom!

Nice image. The flower actually looks as if it is growing through the overlay

You've done a beautiful job with the pp here. I love the scratched old film feel. The tones and colours work really well, too.

STUNNING IMAGE, I would love to know your PP "secrets".

Oh, I love that. "A scent-brimmed cup". That is perfect. I love the stem being just a shadow. And of course the scratchy processing adds nostalgia, which I also love!

Overlay works very well with this image. Composed just right.

Great great overlay, I love how the flower comes up out of the murky background and just pops in your face!

Great bokeh. That tulip looks like it's floating in space -- a UFO.
