Challenge: Homemade Landscapes (Basic Editing)
Camera: Fujifilm FinePix S9100/9600
Location: Port Ludlow, Washington
Date: Apr 3, 2008
Aperture: 2.8
ISO: 800
Shutter: 1/150
Galleries: Still Life, Studio
Date Uploaded: Apr 3, 2008

This didn't turn out quite the way I wanted it to. The imagery was what I wanted but I couldn't get the lighting right. It would have been nice if I could have avoided the seam in the background and the tape on the bridge.

It isn't as much a picture as it is a painting.

This picture is very two dimenstional and lacks depth. Itis a nice landscape but it doesn't realy have much interest to it.

Nice simple idea but effective. The bits of visible tape and the slight lack of focus across the scene are my two niggles here.

Ok, this looks like you just took a picture of a picture, not very creative or artistic.

picture of a picture? i think you can be more creative.

Mmm hmmm

Nice contrast with the red and black, but I hope the pre-existing artwork clause doesn't get you.

Photo or illustration? Hmmm, it definitely pops on the screen. Some of the visible tape pieces detract, but others interesting to look at.

very pretty but rather flat, something in 3D would be much stronger

photos of images are much to flat if you could have used that as a back drop and put some sort of structure or item it would have worked better in my opinion. 6

I feel you could have done with a little more depth - the foreground being more out of focus, but excellent otherwise.

Wondering how on earth you did this. Very cool
