 This is actually a board with a knot in the wood. I was going to put it in and call is 'Does Knot Meet Challenge'. However it was really to boring, so I dressed it up with a Gradient Map adjustment layer.

After doing that it looked to me like a shot of the Earth from outer space, but with the wrong background. Since the background looked more like a large wheat or corn field, I called it Landscape.

I didn't expected it to do even this well, because of the filtered and abstract nature of the image. I glad some people liked it.

Really kind of cool Julianne! It does look like a wheat field with a little snow left over and a pond! This probably would have worked in the fake landscape challenge! :)

Julianne, I think this is actually a very cool shot. Who knew what would score well? I wish I'd voted - maybe I would have pushed you over that edge. It looks like the world on a yellow field of grain.

A microlandscape... very cool. I think OOB shots are a nice way of resolving the paradox: a DNMC that is not really DNMC.

love, how the bay merges into the wheat fields. could be a tad sharper, border is overdone. Meets the challenge, sorry.
