Great idea, but it is verry hard to see the reflection of the child in the antireflective surface of the picture tube. You might try a lot of extra light on the child, maybe a spot light.
I like the blue colourcast but the reflection is weak and I find it hard to see it. I can make out the cutey watching TV if I really try but it's hard work. Great idea though. Kavey
A great idea, but I almost missed the reflection! Maybe if you could have taken it when there was a dark scene or something, so that all of the reflection would show as well as the bottom part. karmat
Meets the Challenge: Yes Artistic Merit (Would I print/frame/hang it?): 2 Creativity (Did a lot of thought go into this photo?): 4 Technical (Focus/DOF/Lighting/Etc): 5 Composition (Subject well-positioned and framed): 5 WOW Factor (Is the photo interesting?): 2
This is a good idea. The reflection IS there, but IMO it's not strong enough to make this a compelling photo. Playing with the lighting a bit may have produced a stronger reflection. Also, the angle of the shot doesn't add anything for for me. I would prefer to see it more angled or not angled at all. Take what you can use, disregard the rest. 4, just-married
you have a very great TV. I work in an electronic store and I love the XBRs. I like the little girl in the shot. Wish the tv was a little more square or not cut off on the top. 5 -Jubei
