What a lovely shot!! Nothing like making good use of the "tools" you have. And, you know, everyone needs to get over the make-up....I imagine they were having a good time!!

Wow, it was twins the whole time! What a great idea. It looked so authetic. Once again, a very creative well done shot!

What I see is not a mirror reflection, but it sure does look like one! Well done - I like the composition and the colors.

I love the colours and the framing of this. The lighting is so soft and warm. This is one of those photos where you can see the loving care the photographer put into it, making sure everything was just right, but not to the point that it kills the feeling of life and spontaneity in it. 10 - lisae

Must be twins then and if so they are beautiful. Good job whatever you did.
10/04/2002 11:17:00 PM
GOOD!
10/04/2002 04:49:00 PM
twins? way too much make-up for my taste but a great photo. 9

This is a great shot the colors are beautifull. In my opinion the only thing keeping it from a 10 is the cropping, show head of both girls, or 1/3 (head and upper torso, but the way you have them posed I would sugust a full shot. Still ine of my top 10 picks.
10/04/2002 04:59:00 AM
I can't tell if I see twins or one girl reflected in something that works just like a mirror.
I think it would have been better if you zoomed in on the girl(s),
10/03/2002 03:04:00 PM
i was told this is not a mirror ... whos pulling what here ?
10/02/2002 09:42:00 PM
Beautifully done. Beautiful children. 8 nards656

It say's this isn't a mirror, so I have to give you a 10 because this is a really good picture! Good job! smshats
10/02/2002 11:22:00 AM
cute!
10/02/2002 09:49:00 AM
very nice...the background is a bit distracting to me and it seems to be 'crooked'...cute kidS :-)

Cool a reflection without a reflection.

I would have liked to have seen a difference between the 'model' and the 'reflection'. Unless I'm missing something, the twins are as identical as they can be. Something subtle that you don't notice at first glance but when you do makes you blink and say 'hang on, it can't be a mirror because...' would really make the picture stunning.

As it is, still one of the best and worthy of a 9.
10/02/2002 01:04:00 AM
and they both look so excited too... Great idea, very creative.
10/02/2002 12:41:00 AM
Very nice twins but a reflection not.
10/01/2002 09:59:00 PM
Excellent! Absolutely fantastic!
10/01/2002 08:08:00 PM
great clarity and compostion. 10 queen
10/01/2002 05:41:00 PM
Twins?
10/01/2002 03:48:00 PM
A beautiful shot. Like others I at first wondered about the mirror effect but I'm glad it was cleared up. Such clarity in your focus. Good job. DPz
10/01/2002 01:38:00 PM
That girl has too much makeup on for her age. And it's crooked.
10/01/2002 01:24:00 PM
That's a very clever photo. However, the challenge calls for a reflective surface. Still, a 7 for creativity. JEM
10/01/2002 12:55:00 PM
Twins ??
10/01/2002 12:40:00 PM
This is really cool. I really thought the challenge was to shoot an actual reflection using a reflective surface, but I only subtract 1 for not meeting the challenge so ... 8 ~indigo997
10/01/2002 11:34:00 AM
Clever. Interesting background and use of the twins.
10/01/2002 11:29:00 AM
If this doesn't win – I'll… well, I don't know what I'll do… This is just so totally superb I can't even begin to try and find fault. The idea, the effort, and those sublime (twins?) kids really make this one of the best pictures I have seen to date on any challenge. (100) If any one scores this less than 10, they should be banned from the site :o) Awesome… Good luck…
10/01/2002 11:25:00 AM
Great play on the concept!
10/01/2002 10:58:00 AM
aren't you glad someone actually though this was a mirror... : )

good idea. great skin tones and quality in general. maybe a bit over saturated.
10/01/2002 09:35:00 AM
This is a creative idea, and it shows all the hard work that you put into it, specially for getting the twins to have the patience to pose for your picture. The mirror effect was accomplished 100%. Just look at the administrator's note on the picture, it is fantastic! I can imagine all the comments you're getting.
10/01/2002 09:06:00 AM
I absolutely adore this photo. Beautifully composed (in my eye), clever as all hell and MORE than meeting the challenge. Raised this to my personal "10" for this week.
10/01/2002 03:46:00 AM
OK, another update. I REALLY looked at it this time and I see it now. Great concept. It must have taken a lot of work to set this up and get it so near perfect. Great job.
09/30/2002 10:58:00 PM
you almost fooled me! very clever and well accomplished
09/30/2002 07:03:00 PM
My guess is that you have a couple of cute little girls, twins!
09/30/2002 06:13:00 PM
twins...:) really cute...
09/30/2002 03:28:00 PM
Very original idea....or maybe not if you have identical twins... The composition could have been better, there is too much empty space to the right and not enough of the girl on the left.
09/30/2002 02:46:00 PM
Twins? Another nice trick. The wall is the give away. (also the left girl has a fold in her top at the shoulder, the right doesn't.) VERY nice color. 9 Swash
09/30/2002 12:10:00 PM
I that is not a mirror, good reflection! I would like to hear what you did!
09/30/2002 11:57:00 AM
My gosh are they twins? I don't care either way this is a beautiful child.WOW You have your own personal model. Sweeties. Score 8 Justine.
09/30/2002 10:29:00 AM
I like this, I had thought about doing this, but didnt know any twins! (if they are?)
09/30/2002 08:55:00 AM
Twins? In fact do I recognize this very pair from one of the photos in my favs?Very creative interpretation. Would like it tilted just a hair to make the doorway straight. Still, great job. 8, just-married
09/30/2002 08:15:00 AM
I would have given this a higher mark if the DHILDREN didn't have make up on. They doesn't need makeup. They are beautiful enough without eyeshadow, mascara, lipstick and blush. I do not mean to insult the photographer; I just wanted to mention this. LIttle girls grow up too fast as it is!
09/30/2002 07:39:00 AM
I was wondering if we would see some twins. Very pretty models. Although this is not the kind of reflection I think most of us were going for, they are definitely reflecting.
09/30/2002 04:08:00 AM
Are that twins? I like the concept, very creative! Perhaps i would have cropped a little different. - 8
09/30/2002 01:34:00 AM
Wow... great shot - I'm not sure how you pulled this off without the mirror? :) Technically a good photograph as well... you could have maybe cropped a hair tighter on the right? Great job! - 8 - JB
09/30/2002 01:04:00 AM
Amazing photo !!!! I had to look long and hard to see what this really is. Twins. The white area is beautiful...the detail is just awesome ! = 10 Shiiizzzam
09/30/2002 12:58:00 AM
I love this shot, must be twins since the shadows give away that there are two separate persons. This deserves to win.
09/30/2002 12:45:00 AM
I'm impressed!!! This is phenomenal.. twins :) = 10 - setzler
09/30/2002 12:33:00 AM
