This is the dome in the Ohio State Capitol building in Columbus. The kids and I went downtown to have lunch with Aimee and then wander around to take some pics. I have been wanting to shoot this for a challenge at some point. Fortunately and advanced edit challenge came up that it fit into.
This isnt tonemapped, though shadow/highlight slider was used on it minimally. Editing - RAW conversion - shadow/hihglight, NI, levels, selective color, hue/sat, alot of dodging, burning, selective desat and selective blur, crop, resize, smart sharpen and more of the dodging, burning, selective desat and selective blur, border.
On a side note, about 6 hours later I was in the urgent care facility with a severe case of strep. My throat hurt so bad I couldnt swallow or talk and the pain shot through my ears. It was a rough night. I feel much better now. ;) |

Another good result Tim with this one..... I really love the angle from which this was taken and the persective and curves are amazing.....p

| really beautiful color here. I think the angle could be a little bit tweaked though...not sure, but something about it just makes me dizzy. |
