The two girls were painting their school staircase. For me the two are one - the faceless painter and the face of the girl which we cant see painting (the title)

Special thanks to posthumous for his much appreciated

I thought this was one of the "fascinating" thought provoking images in this challenge. Nice work indeed.

Interesting image. The framing (I assume it's looking into the basement of a studio) is captivating. However, I fail to connect the title to the image. I think I'm missing who the subject is here. The woman to the right appears to be the main focus but I would classify her more as modeling then an artist. The woman on the left, however, is an artist but we fail to see her face (or gender really, so I guess saying "the woman on the left" isn't appropriate). Challenge aside, looking at the face of the girl, it is very pixelated or noisy. I'm not sure if it was processed this way or right from the camera, but it does give sort of a "painting" feel, so I guess it works with the image as a whole...4

This should be her business card. It's so mysterious and yet so clearly about an artist. You have the artist at work and the artist seeking inspiration.

I don't fully understand it, it is intriguing though. Great idea, but I feel like I don't know enough.

Doesn't really grab my attention, no reason. Art speaks differently to different people.

A little tough to drink in at such a small size. I'm sure this would look far better in a larger format. Nice from what I'm taking.

I like the setup of this a lot, but I think it suffers from just too much negative/white space. There is an abundance of noise, but that may be intentional though.

This portrait is somewhat confusing, I'm not sure what's going on with the two seperate subjects.
