I have a tough time picturing this on a food magazine cover- it's all about the net. If it weren't for the two protruding claws, I would have no idea what was under there. Sorry!

A tighter crop on the claws maybe. the mesh distracts the eyes away from the main subject. Great idea though.

If not for the magazine title, I wouldn't have known what the subject of this photo was. The mesh dominates the photo, and distracts from its focus - at least I think it does.

The netting is a little too bright. I'd shorten the exposure time on this.

It's way to obscure to make a good mag cover, although I like it otherwise.

Wire to distracting, only a southerner would know cradads are in there , I think.

love it - great colour, texture and just the claws make it very cool. Would have loved the focus to have been just a touch further back but still excellent
