Quite like this image, the orange works really well against the B&W print.

Prehistoric orange !! It looks like a pteradactyl. Why the newpapers?

Orange and black = beautiful combination. Very well thought of. The addition of the black crane at the back adds more interest and contrast. DOF is very nice. I just don't like the dead center placement of the orange crane but that is just me (a suggestion is to crop just to the left of the square ball and about an inch from the bottom). What I like most is the loving effort and details that you spent in this challenge. It shows beautifully in your photograph.

had the title been more catchy... maybe the photo would have been more valuable;

The orange and black are nice contrasts. The white object in the background is a bit distracting.

The orange crane is a little too central. Cropping most of the out of focus part of the newspaper in the foreground or moving the orange crane forward and changing the focus point could help this.

Adding another black bird in place of the white object could add to the impact.

What a beautiful piece of origami and what a stunning orange. The setting/background, however is very weak. A neutral bacground of, say, black or navy would have shown this off so much better. The origami is good and sharp though.

The oragami is cute and the exposure and depth of field are very nice, but the background of newspapers doesn't make sense to me. Also, compositionally, the three pieces of folded paper create a horizontal line right across the center of the image, leaving a lot of the actual image space unused.

Very original. The subject really stands out from the back ground and the focus is perfect. 7 from me...
