 Another photo of me looking like an idiot :) Simple enough idea I guess, but expecting some awesome kid shots here to wipe the floor with me.

Simple set-up, white background and single bounced flash (learnt my lesson from "Fork Handles"). Holding black board up in front of me for the line. Processed to get a high contrast feel and a touch of diffuse glow to lift things in the face. Nothing spectacular but it's all good practice. Hopefully we'll manage a respectable 5?

I love the expression on your models face. The light seems to be a little harsh coming from the top.

Interesting shot - I wonder whether B&W are too harsh for this ?

The danger of this swathe of black in the lower third, is that it comes across more like a lack of picture than a choice of foreground.

It could just be me, but the black looks slightly off of horizontal. I wuold also prefer to see more of the eyes. The lower lid is cut off.

Good picture. Very minor problems spoil it a bit.
It's slightly of level and the white specks on the card annoy me, I also think the card would be better as completely Jet back.
