Challenge: Orange (Basic Editing I)
Camera: Sony DSC-F828
Location: las vegas , nevada
Date: Mar 20, 2004
Aperture: f4
Shutter: 30"
Galleries: Nature, Portraiture
Date Uploaded: Mar 20, 2004

this shot was taken with only the moonlight and a orange tinted street light. i wanted to capture the glow of the moon in the back ground so i used a slow shutter speed. i used a 30 second delay on the shutter. About 15 seconds into the shot we dropped out of the picture to give the see through effect.
nothing was altered . this is the original photo.

Very Creative! Personally, I think it would be better if the male model could show some stronger emotion expression. Great composition.

Well done except done except for a few minor things. Picture how much better this would be without the logs and that red spot on the right. Take the picture from a lower angle and that disappears. You'd also have much more imposing ghosts.

I love the dreamy effect of the long exposure and the moon!

Nice double exposure effect. Shot thru glass reflector?

I like this shot,it fits the challenge, so whats with the little white line in her shoulder and the tree .Is it a car driving down the steet? What did you use for a filter?

Clever! How did you...?

Cleverly done, and very evocative. Perhaps a bit over-edited for my taste; or was it just a simple double-exposure?

Definately an interesting use of white balance to create an effect!

I like this shot; It's weird. How did you get the colors to contrast like that? 8

This is very well done with the grey sky and all, but the people don't fit the mood...they look like two regular kids just hanging out. You know what I mean?

great idea & lighting but rather poor composition - you might have tried losing these souls in a nicer spot! that log on the ground cutting through her abdomen is annoying

Nice, but I dont like color replacements, sorry.

I really like the creativity here and surreal look. Nice choice to center the moon. However, the background vegetation seems a little random, not adding a whole lot to the look.
