I was waiting for the sunset with my camera on a tripod when this guy walked in front of the camera. I thought he looked so sad since there were no waves for him to play with! All I did to the image was adjust Sharpness, a little of the saturation and the contrast. I also straightened it a bit to have the horizon look right.

It's a lovely picture, but you wasted it in a challenge it really doesn't fit. Yes, this scene has little color in it, but a beachscape is hardly a greyscale subject.
