What a texture combo. They really work well together.
I'm glad you found out about the magnetic lasso. I use it a lot. It's a lot easier than extracting something. |

Love this texture with that bird. It is just missing a splash two to three inches below his tail area for total impact! |

funny wot judy said ... and so true, altho i didnt see the similarity to droppings till i read her comment :) ..
its a brilliant photograph and an excellent process .. those layers work so well for this image ..
i use the polygonal lasso all the time but the magnetic lasso .. hmmmmmm .. i'll have to check it out .. :)
five minutes later ... i just gave it a go .... & OMG !!! .. IT'S BRILLIANT .. all the time i've been wasting with the polygonal when i could'v been using the magnetic .. thankyou charlie .. another wonderful tool to use in photoshop ..:) |

The thing I love about this overlay on this image, is that it does look like bird droppings in parts - SMILE! |
