I caught two trains today and of course they were at times I needed to be on time and didn't have time to spare. I took several photos of the first train but the snow flying up made the pictures look awful. Here is the second train I caught. I got the back end of it.

The noise in the picture is actually snow coming down.

This is a beautiful post card looking shot. I like photos with the snow coming down.

Oh - I like the leading power lines and the train that follows them - excellent composition.

Looks cold and bleak, I think the processing has really emphasised that feeling. Don't know about you, but I'm ready for Spring!

wow flying snow, grainy feel but those power lines cutting through the top right..they create some kind of drama here. glad even though you were late, you took time to "smell the roses" (click!)

happy friday!

I like how you caught it going away. It looks like a train that carries cars.

I will look with interest at your photos in spring. With all the deciduous trees around it must look absolutely beautiful when the new growth starts to appear. Like the processing Amanda - gives a real sketchy effect.

how cold this scene looks and with the train going off into the distance its got a sort of desolate feel .. i was going to comment on the noise coz i thought it was a result of your processing, but then i read your comment .. its a great image .. :)
