This is a dark picture, and the tiny relief of the opened window is very effective.
It seems to be a vertical surface, but I may be wrong.

wee bit on the dark side

A tad on the dark side, but I like the color gradient going lighter into the top left corner. The splash of red/orange really breaks up the repeated color/pattern nicely, as does the window being open. If this wasnt staged then very well captured, if it was, then nicely thought out. Great shot!

This is the most artistic pic I've seen in this challenge so far.

like how you composed this! you probably intended the pic to be as dark as it is, but I would have liked to see it a little ligher... gave it a 7

this would look really cool if it were a bit lighter with just that one open window

I think your suggesting that the early sunrise is illuminating the small orange portion of the window. If that is the case, well done. This is a very perceptive photograph. That small touch made this photograph very interesting. Well done.

Very, very nice. If it was mine (and I know it isn't) I'd probably crop quite severely to show that tile with the red and just enough around it to get the point of the Challenge established. It's good seeing and cannot have been an easy shot.

There were quite a few shots like this ( exception in grid ) this one stands out because of the band of red in the open window and the way it changes the somber blue mood of the rest of the image. top ten.

I really like this image. It's very interesting with the open window. I love how you shot it. I find it a tiny bit dark, but it really draws your eye to the red. Overall, it's a great effect. Good luck!

The open window anchors the picture beautifully.

Great shot, the open (window ?) really frames the picture.

The lines certainly make the shot. It is a bit dark.
