Peace at last.

Photo taken of my son waiting to be fed. Crustiness around the eye and nose add a character to the shot.. I feel.

Hand held, no flash. Natural afternoon light through kitchen window.

PP - tweak temperature, brightness and contrast. Luminance of blue and yellow reduced a little, and saturation of red, orange, purple and magenta removed entirely.

Peace.. at last :) Selective desat in basic is always a bit of a fudge but I think it works ok here. The blue in the eyes I think works although I'd have been tempted to take out the green/yellow too.

Ahhh the peace of a pacifier, Beautiful eyes,
Some areas seem a touch soft, focus seems to be on the nose? Only real nit if the baby's face was washed IMO would look better :)

it'd be better if you got rid of the crusties around the eye and nose. also, i'd make it all B&W except the eyes.

Not a fan of the selective color. Find the reflections in the eyes to be distracting.

The choice to color the pacifier and the eyes draws your attention to the photo. The colors are very sharp, and the reflection in the eyes is the focal point.

I really like the selective coloration of his eyes, penetrating gaze there!

I like how the eyes and the binki are the main focus in the photograph by beaing in color. I also like how the baby is calm and looking at the camera rather the have their head turned any.

I like the desat on this however the nose detracts from the picture slightly I think

Why did you use selective desat on this? To me it just looks weird to have color in the pacifier and a little in the eyes. You've lost the skin tones that would make the baby look more alive.

The crusty bits remind me of when my kids were little. Nice desat and love the little reflects in the eyes.
