Sorry, another picture of one of my kids.

It is rare that Taylor and Cartesia play well together but when they do it is amazing to see how they interact. This evening the girls were playing house/restaurant. Cartesia is sitting waiting for her food while Taylor is "preparing" it. (Taylor was the waitress/cook.) While waiting Cartesia started to admire the play ring she had on her finger. It reminded me of how a girl might look at a new ring or engagement ring she has received.

I tried to give this a dreamy affect. I am not really sure if I succeeded in getting the look I wanted. I have been kind of in a rut lately and am not feeling too inspired so nothing looks good to me. :o( Tomorrow is a new day I guess.

She is really focused on her ring, it does have a bit of a dreamy feel.

You have quite the knack for observing and capturing these quiet moments. I like how she's observing the ring, sitting there on her blankie, waiting for lunch. The softness works well.

Soft and beautiful, it's a lovely moment you've caught and the lilac, grey and pink tones are gorgeous.

You have the makings of a true gem of an image in this one. Crop to portrait, 3/2 ratio, from the top to just below the hands, then vignette the corners, and last soften the inner edge of the vignette. I tried the crop with my hands, and the "wow factor" is there. Great capture. It's good that you saw the moment and acted.

Get out of that rut Amanda -everything that you have posted in this SC has been great and this is no exception. Like this soft dreamy look and the expression you have captured on Cartesia's face.
