 I've been wanting to try some artistic filters on some of my photos (just for fun) so here's the first one. The embarrassing part is...I can't remember which one's I used. Not a dummy, huh?

Here's the original. It's of a Shamrock Blossom in my bathroom window sill.

Wow, I like what the artistic filter did. It certainly gives the image a satiny soft feel. It really brings out the lines of the flower versus the focus being on the other characteristics of the flower, for instance color.

The thumbnail really caught my eye. Love the lightness and impression of etched glass too.

brilliant roger ... love the tones and the softness .. a great start with the filters ..
looks a bit like artistic/plastic wrap & possibly a distort/glass .. with some sort'v inversion or something ... i'm probably completely wrong !!

really cool effect..looks like Irish crytal..now wth do you mean you can't rememebr which filter you applied?? hehehee

I really like this filter! Shame you can't remember the name ... ;) This would be a great design for a bathroom window, if it could be frosted like that!
