For this challenge I wanted to redo the - Color Blind II – picture done by charliebaker in the Red II Challenge.

I did take an extremely overexposed picture of some bright snow. In curves, adjusted RVB to +26 & +26 and adjusted the red channel to 0 & 255. In color balance, adjusted mid-tones to -69 +95 & -94, adjusted light-tones to -38 +77 & -47

The big improvement over Charlie’s picture is that I added a frame… LOL, and because it's an advance editing challenge with a picture size of 720, we can see a lot more details in the picture :)

I can’t wait to see how this will do.

Once the frame was added, the picture was saved for web and uploaded.

I'm sitting here laughing so hard there are tears running down my face, and I'm at work! All your fault! I love your processing steps and the thought process that went into improving Mr Baker's already exceptional challenge entry. Two big thumbs up on this one.

Brilliant composition with a keen use of color to enhance the overall art-nouveau feel of the metaphysics captured in the image. Congrats on placing "Turd", and also bumping my entry to the dreaded fourth from the bottom. Thanks for the tribute!

This is getting into modern art, and not the good kind.

in a solid color I see no photographic skill or post processing skill, so I have nothing in which to judge this photograph

well, that's a beautiful even green. no grain, can't tell about the focus... like that you added a border... however, I think you know how this is gonna go : ) good luck in the challenge

Ahhh wish I had thought of this. To add the border is brilliant! In the original, your eye wandered all over the screen. Now the border helps the eye to focus on something. However, your I would have preferred to see even thickness on all sides of the border. Since some of the sides are out of balance, I cannot give you a higher than a 4. :)

Nice use of the frame. It really adds that 'extra' touch that was missing in the original.

Not at all: a very becoming shade of green (Babar, the elephant). Extra points for being square.

I think you misseed the point of the challenge - it was to make the brown ribbon better, not imitate it exactly.

Not sure if you are shooting for the brown ... I actually preferred the original so if you were then great work!

I'm seeing "RED" with this entry!:) Thanks for the tribute. I like your green tonality and the remarkable compositional brilliance in this angle. All the best!

haha I remember this.
I think the purpose of the challenge though is to create a better photo of a brown ribbon photo.
There's not too much to work with here

I don't think the black border is a great enhancement. at least you could have made it regular.
