Who said only dogs can do tricks?
I saw  krnodil's fabulous daguerreotype back and had to use it IMMEDIATELY!
Probably not the best image for it, but I love the overlay, thanks Karen! :-)
Here is my original image:
Applied LucisArt Whyeth
Copied eyes onto new layer set to screen
Channel mixer layer at 96% opacity with some of cat body masked out
Darkened shadow by painting black on soft light layer
Dag back layer on soft light
Another dag back layer on soft light, levels adjusted to make it darker
Mostly mask out cat on both dag back layers
Painted black on soft light layer to darken edges, duplicated it
Duplicated image, flattened, changed to B&W with channel mixer, changed to grayscale, changed to duotone pantone yellow, then copy back into original image opacity 17% to tone colors a bit more
Again duplicate image, flatten, run urban acid, adjust it, flatten, copy back into original image opacity 46%
resize, save for web |
