There was some really good light as the sun was setting today. I decided after dropping Tay off at acting I would try to get some pictures of the local churches.

Note: Around the peaks it looks as if it was over sharpened. These ridges are created by the bricks of the building, they are there when first opening.

I didn't even do any funky processing today. Not really happy with this picture.

The steeple is really tall on this church. I like the capture and the B&W.

You did a good job of capturing the size of the church. B&W was the right choice, although I think it could use a bit more contrast. Maybe lighten the snow a bit?

But a grand old lady none the less and very well portraid. There's an immense amount of detail you've captured here.

I really like this one. Lovely crisp lines and detail, yes, bright the snow a bit a it's done.

A magnificent structure. The only change I would suggest is to brighten the snow a little. Otherwise, I like the darkness a lot.

I love this, Amanda. Your photo really does the architecture of the church justice. The crisp lines and the tones in the image are wonderful. I would perhaps try lightening it a bit with a levels adjustment layer to help it pop more; seems just a tad subdued.

ETA - I wouldn't have even thought to make a suggestion if you hadn't mentioned that you're not completely happy with the photo. :o)
