I heard someone is enjoying taking photos at DPC. And also that someone was smart enough to run out and buy some stuff for the challenge. lol Looks yummy! Congrats on your new personal best!

Nice composition, the only thing bugging me is that your title is homemade, but the butter is factory made. However, my score didn't go down because of it.

This space right above the butter before the back loaf of bread seems a bit awkward but overall good job.

I agree. The butter isn't working for me, but I don't really have any suggestions on what else to do with it.

IMO there is a big unbalance in your picture. the lighting is very harsh. this shows in the reflection on the jar. the butter is so bright that it's overwhelming and overpowering the rest of the picture and makes it looks darker than it actually is. The majority of your picture is bread-brown. Having 2 counter-points, the red jar and the bright butter, unbalances your composition.
