 I had to go to the northern beaches area of Sydney today for work. I love this area - it's where I grew up. I was doing some survey work on this block of land for the construction of a fairly large two storey residence. This is the view from the rear yard.

What a beautful sky in this shot. I am extremely jealous of this sky.... I think the composition and positioning of the water, horizon and sky works really well in this shot. It has the perfect combination of the three. I also like the boats. They make nice little angles amongst the water to really give some good depth to the photos.

that sky is very dramatic .. i love drama !!!!!

What a beautiful scene! And the sky is divine. I can just feel the air. The photo might be a tad oversharpened - or too much USM - don't know what you used.

This looks like a beautiful place to grow up and certainly to visit, even if you are working. I like your composition and especially those clouds, but I'm not so sure about the processing. It's pushed a bit past reality, which is fine, but I wonder how this would look if you either backed it off a bit or went even farther to give it a painterly look, perhaps watercolor or oils.
