I particularly like how her eyes are the same shade of blue as her blouse. Like the comp and clarity.

Sweet girl, but I think the brightness/contrast could be adjusted to give the picture some more punch. In my opinion you bring too much of the hat, - a radical cropping at top and left would give the girls' eyes more attention.

Nice shot... but background distracts rather than adds.

Nice photo but I would have preferred it without the hat. good colour

great lighting...this is a very nice shot all around...the colors all work well together...she looks very comfortable and the pose looks as if she is at ease...

you know to me if you just had a different background, this is a fantastic shot of her. Love the color of the her eye's to her top...but the background color is a clash to me. Oh and as I look at it more, the hat is a bit flat, seems too evenly lit. For sure its the right track to a great shot.....

Nice shot - the colors and textures are appealing. - 7

First, let me say great model, great pose, great location for an "environmental" portrait. Meets the challenge very well. My only comment would be that the lighting looks a little "off". From the location of the catchlights in her eyes, it looks like you may have been using a direct flash? This could be part of it, or maybe it is just that the flash was too strong and didn't allow enough "ambient" exposure for the background? In any event, nice job.

You have a beautiful subject here, i would like to see an even closer shot of her in this same pose, croping down almost to the brim of the hat, on the shoulder side to the hair, and have her remove the rings! your focal point should be this beautiful lady. Your clarity and colors here are good. 9

What a beatitul shot! Really, a beatiful woman, and good work. I really love the use of colour.Focus is great and the pose of the model is well done, too. One of the best shots of this week. 8

Attractive portrait. Artificial lighting does not appeal to me personally and this style of portraiture is effective for commercial purposes and for clients but rarely provides an attractive artistic image.

This is a nice enough photo - the only things I can think that might improve it is a little more light (though it might be my screen, not sure) and i'm afraid to say it, a little less hat. I find it a little overpowering - perhaps if there was more of the model in the model / hat ratio? 7.

i feel like you focused more on the hat rather than her face cropping probably could have fixed that

Beautiful girl! The shot is nice, but the lighting on her face is a bit harsh. Nice DOF

Very nice, good colours, background's great, nice idea with the hat. Only thing I'm noticing though (that I don't really like) is the top she is wearing. Looks kind of busy, too much there. If she'd had on a different colour, maybe a plain top it'd have been full marks.

Very nice lighting, though perhaps just a tad too bright front-on, if that makes sense. Those Tennesee gals are sure pretty! The daffodils are a great touch. 9

Crop seems a little too close. I would like to see more of her arms.

Lovely pose, great skin tones. I guess you used on camera flash which has worke quite well, although it does flatten the image a bit. For me, the background does not really work - not well enough lit, neither in nor out of focus,so it distracts. Against a neutral background this shot would have been even better!

Shucks, that looks like a wedding ring. Anyhoo, pretty darn good portrait. Skin tones are flawless, focus is perfect, DOF good. My only nit is the crop at the bottom. That one daffodill between her wrists is distracting.

Beautiful model; very nice, natural pose. Good exposure; light from front could be softer, the sharp shadows of the hat and of the flower against her wrist are a bit distracting.. It could benefit from levels (bring in white point) & a slight contrast boost.

Great portrait! Love your other photos of her as well. I really like the splashes of yellow with the flowers. Nice lighting and composition.

A sweet portrait with an unusual background/ foreground. I like the pose and the hat works well with that.

your model is lovely, and the composition is good, but there is something about the colours that makes me pause..maybe its that the yellows of the daffodils are not vibrant. It almost seems slightly underexposed? I'm not sure what it is, but that's the only reservation I have on this shot. :)

IMHO, this will benefit a lot if it wascropped tighter. The yellow flowers (both in the foreground and the background) are a bit distracting. Having said that, I like many things about this picture..the colors foremost.

Very pretty, but I feel that the centred eye line doesn't feel right. Cutting the arms at a joint also feels uncomfortable.

You've done it again...this is a great model. She has a great natural look. Nice shot overall, but the hat is so dominate with this crop. I think her pretty face and great blue eyes make up for it. Nice job, hope you do well.

Kevin, this is a very nice photograph of a levely subject. I would score it higher but last week you posted pictures of this model in forums and galleries. I don't think this is a good way to approach a challenge. If this isn't Kevin please send me a private message and I'll change my score.

If by chance this isn't Kevin please send me a private message and I'll change my score.

On my monitor, which is usually very bright, this one seems just a little dim That's my only drawback, however. I think this is a wonderl traditional portrait shot.

Has a feeling we would see her in this challenge. Very nice, good colors, like the way her hands are set but not sure I like the hair getting cut off on the left and the bottom right. The crop works but it's off just a tad. An 8
