Admittedly, it was a difficult shot to pull off. I made several variations of the shot and got the best DOF I could (given the equipment).
The original shot was considerable larger and the submitted shot was cropped considerably. For those that feel they could have done better, I'd love to see it, really.

Excellent colors. The DOF may be to small however.

Nice concept, but I find that the reflection is a little fuzzy.

This is a great picture. The title could have been: "Mutual Thirst"

Interesting shot, it's the most similar to mine! You getting hammered with "what is this" type comments? The yellow line had me thinking, then I realized it was a vein in the leaf. What kind of plant has these leaves? The rose is soft, but the three views are cool. Oops, that is four or more views, very, very cool! 9 Swash

Wow! I love how the droplet projects the rose back onto the leaf.

too little in focus for me and I am having a hard time telling what I am looking at.

There's too much leaf (background)and not enough rose (subject) to my eye. You just can't see enough detail in the flower - it took me a moment to realise it was a rose not just the thing in front of the droplet. Nice idea and a good attempt it though. 5

Kind of interesting but I don't know what I'm looking at. Is it a turtle in the algae? Great colors. Good luck in the challenge. Grayce aka Gracious

Great image. I love the mystic feel of the shot – makes the water look a little crystal ball like. The rose is ghostly, and the bright line looks almost like an intersecting electrical energy force. Colours look great as well. Only way I think this could be improved is to perhaps crop in a bit closer so that the surrounding area doesn't draw the eye away. The DOF works well, this helps with the composition; perhaps – I'm nit picking now – cropping just a tiny fraction to left might have helped as well. (7) Good luck.
