 This was a shot that I had NO time to prepare. I was walking toward these steps thinking about composing something for the challenge, when I noticed this guy GOING UP the staircase. I whipped around with the camera, composed, and fired. He almost got away. All week I'd been looking at optical illusions, trying to figure out how to replicate one in a photo. When I got THIS shot on the monitor, I couldn't believe it. I'd created an optical illusion! You really can't tell whether he's ascending or descending. Anyway, not a perfect picture and the railing is blown out, but it was fun!

I would say he's going up, it looks as though you can see the hole in the back of his hat. Nice job.

Going up. It looks like he's wearing a baseball cap. Nice photo, and good to see a central focus point to complete the image (the guy)
