Challenge: Parallel Lines (Basic Editing I)
Camera: Canon EOS-10D
Location: Emma Willard Private School, Troy NY
Date: Mar 13, 2004
Aperture: 9.5
ISO: 100
Shutter: 1/180 s
Galleries: Cityscape, Architecture
Date Uploaded: Mar 13, 2004

This shot is from a lovely private school near my home called Emma Willard. I think it's only 40K per year per student (who doesn't live there).

You would never know it was freezing out with a 15mph wind that was just nasty cold.

This image is pretty much straight outta the camera. Simple color adujustment and low unmask and I was off to the races...

This is my first entry with a picture from my new 10D!

LENS USED: Canon 28-90mm F/4-5.5, taken at 28mm.

I must say that I like the strange angle of this building. It is effective. The stonework shows up clearly and the crenellated towers with the gargoyles
show up well.

I like the subject but the angle is a little awkward. 7

interesting perspective, but it masks the parallel lines in the image.

Weird angle.
Not bad, just weird.
And that is a good thing!
I don't think the parallel lines are too obvious though.

Its a nice shot but in my opinion it doesn't fit the challenge too well.. yes i see the parallel lines but they don't quite stand out if you know what i mean. Very good choice of angle. Good technicals too... spot on focus! Good but just not fitting the challenge.. maybe architechture wouldv'e suited this shot better... 3 sorry
